ARCH Capital is an independently owned real estate private equity investment platform, with a proven track record of investing in the opportunistic, value-add and core/core-plus strategies in residential and living assets, logistics, data centres, commercial real estate, and operating platforms across Asia Pacific across key Asia Pacific markets.
Our History and Partnerships
ARCH Capital was co-founded by Richard Yue in partnership with the Ayala Group of the Philippines and has evolved into an independent platform focused on Asia Pacific real estate. Since its establishment, the firm has maintained a consistent emphasis on operational agility, local market expertise, and disciplined execution across its investment strategies.
Over time, ARCH has entered into partnerships with leading global institutions, including the Olayan Group and Manulife, to further enhance its platform capabilities.
These strategic partnerships serve as affirmations of ARCH’s institutionalized operating platform, as well as its proven capabilities and network across APAC markets. They have supported the expansion of ARCH’s investment strategies and market presence, reinforcing its position as a nimble yet institutionally aligned real estate investment manager in the region. The firm remains majority owned by its senior management team.
Regional Footprint
Headquartered in Hong Kong, ARCH Capital maintains offices in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, Japan and China, with presence in Macau.
With on-the-ground teams based across Asia-Pacific, our quick decision-making processes have positioned us as a reliable capital partner — one that moves fast to capitalize on displacement and market dislocation opportunities as they arise.
A strong local presence allows ARCH to effectively source, manage, monitor and exit investments across every market we operate in.
Our core strength is in identifying and unlocking values in properties through active and direct asset management within a fully integrated in-house team and local knowledge in each market that we operate in.
Commitment to Sustainability
ARCH Capital’s success is built on the responsible management of the resources entrusted to us — financial, environmental, and relational. As a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) since 2012 and a GRESB participant member, we integrate ESG considerations into every stage of our investment process, from acquisition through asset management to exit.
Across our portfolio, we pursue green building certifications at eligible properties — from BCA Green Mark-certified office assets in Singapore to Fitwel-certified residential developments in Taiwan — and report on our progress in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. Sustainable practice isn’t a separate track from our investment strategy; it’s a discipline we apply alongside the same rigor we bring to underwriting and asset management.
