The Chelsea is a 34 storey commercial office building located in the Sheung Wan district of Hong Kong. Newly refurbished in the late 2020, The Chelsea offers street level retail, parking, and office spaces that feature rectangular column-free office layouts with ceilings up to 3.3 meters in height. The building’s location neighbors Hong Kong’s main CBD and is within close proximity to various transport options, offering convenience and connectivity to all corners of the city.
This was a rare opportunity to acquire a commercial office building located in the heart of Sheung Wan. Our strategy was to reposition the building, once characterized as the ‘old’ in the ‘old-meets-new’ of the Sheung Wan district, through value-add initiatives and asset enhancement work. The building has since undergone extensive renovation and now exhibits a rejuvenated presence in the neighborhood. The refurbishment has repositioned The Chelsea from an old office building with small/medium traditional tenants, to a modern building with a warm ambience that appeals to talented individuals who embody the live, work and play lifestyle. In keeping with The Chelsea’s new identity, the redesign of the retail space aims to make The Chelsea the place to be for unique experiences, well-suited towards the tenants needs, and attract visitors from the neighborhood.
A unique feature we added to The Chelsea is C-Suite, a lounge designed for exclusive use by the tenants. With high-tech conference rooms and a stylishly designed lounge area, The C-Suite is a distinct offering that adds elements of lifestyle to The Chelsea.
